At the risk of sounding cliche, begin with the end in mind -- have a clear vision of what you want to have and be in the future (one year, two years, and five years from now). Then start formulating your plan to get there. Welcome to the community and good luck.

Be realistic. Know when to take advice from others.

Know what you don't know, and get help in those areas.

            Start small.

Focus on the customers. They pay your paycheck.

Ensure that you really, really want to work for yourself for the right reasons. If you're doing it only for the money or the perception that you won't have to work as hard, forget it.

Accept the possibility that you might have to learn about business while working for someone else, at least for a little while.

Accept the possibility that you can do great things -- and still make a lot of money -- while working for someone else. (And it can be a lot easier when all you have to do is focus on your one cog in the machine, as opposed to the whole machine.)

            Find a mentor.

Except in rare cases, give the market what it wants, not what you think the market wants.

Man, I could go on and on...

              Hi Kolbur,

I really believe in this quote by Napoleon Hill.............

*+"Every person who wins in any undertaking must be willing to cut all sources of retreat. Only by doing so can one be sure of maintaining that state of mind known as a burning desire to win - essential to success."+</stro<br />
I think you know what you need to do, now you must commit to it and go after it with all your desire and passion. Plan and gather your resources, that is the technical part.

When you have that put together we can help you put them into action with our financing capabilities.

              Call us and good luck
              Dan or Chris

Starting a business would be a great idea. But you need to develop a business plan and do a lot of market research in the area of business. It involves time and cost in carrying the activities. We would help you in developing a business plan and market research but it cost you minimum.

Starting a business as a young adult is very risky. If you have a great idea in mind make sure it is well thought out. Make sure you have a plan and how your going to make that plan workand most of all make sure your finances are stable and are ready to take the challenge. You have to be a hard worker, and you need to be ready to be knocked down a few times before you can truly make it, having a successful business takes time, effort and heart. Wish you luck!
