Endorsing first income check, Welcome
Ask the bank or your accountant. Then get a rubber stamp.
Hopefully you will receive many more checks.
If the business is a sole proprietorship, then you could sign it:
Your name (signed)
d/b/a Your business name (printed)
If not a sole proprietorship (or even if it is, I suppose), you can PRINT on the back:
Pay to the order of
For Deposit Only
Your Business Name
Your Account Number
This is how our rubber stamps have always looked.
I think you have gotten your answer. I just want to say congratulations!!! This is a great problem to have! I hope you have many more checks to endorse!

Ok...stupid question...I just received my first payment from a client since I've opened my business checking account. How do I endorse the back? Before, the checks were written directly to me so I just signed my name but now it's written to my business. Can I just sign my name on the back?
