Banks will post debits before credits...so if you had checks clear on the same day as your deposit and your balance did not cover those checks before the deposit, you get hit for NSF charges.
Take a trip to your branch and talk with your branch manager...you may be able to get some of those fees refunded. BTW Quickbooks calculates this was as well.

Help - I need guidance in understanding my current statement. I have recieved over 500.00 dollars in over dafts since my deposit did not clear in time- my mistake - however after down loading my statement - there are sill overdrafts that show on days that the account was not in the red - Has this happened to anyone? Desperate
