Getting people to actually "buy". I do a lot of praying and keep positive. I know it's not my fault that the economy is sluggish and we're in a recession.
I've been in the mailing industry for many years. Lately I've been doing some side consulting with a one-person direct mail consulting company in the NYC/tri-state area.
Our biggest challenge as a small (self-financed) business is finding cost effective marketing solutions that actually reach live people. We've tried radio which we found is not kind to smaller business because it is too expensive and too area focused. We've tried print which again is expensive and doesn't reach a wide area of our target market without getting into multiple publications.
