Looking for a CPA/Tax professional. Great idea.
i just answered your second question about LLC.
Open the yellow pages, ask friends, your banker.
There are many CPA in San Diego.
Good luck, LUCKIEST
Problem is CPA's here in Cali arent returning my phonecalls. Maybe I'll just stick with my CPA in TX!
Chances are your CPA in TX can handle your needs. Typically, it isn't too hard to learn the ins and outs of another state. Ask him/her if s/he is up to it.
I am in IL, but I have/have had clients in CA, NY, NV, FL, CO, WI, MI, AZ, TX and am trying to broaden my horizons everyday. Typically when I lose a client, geography is lowest on the list of reasons. It probably has more to do with spending too much time on message boards during tax season. ; )
Good luck in your quest.
Looking for a CPA/Tax professional
Right now Accountants are very busy.
File for an extension and contact the CPA in May
Timing is everything, now accountants are into the BUSIEST 3 weeks of the entire tax season.Time right now is spread thin, so new clients and returning phone calls have to wait.
However as "dublincpa" said you have to have priorities, like this website.
Hope none of my clients who are waiting for their tax returns read this.
You're right...I didn't even think about that. My taxes for 2007 were filed a few weeks ago. I'm looking for someone in CA for 2008 and beyond. I was hoping to get personal references for CPA's from other members.
Try looking up Michael Marischal (spelling?) He is a CPA in over in Temecula.
