They're not that good, to be honest. Some cheat on the time tracker. You have to interview them really well first and see their credentials before hiring them.

It is always difficult to quantify when one is working remotely. I completely agree with jbella and would give more stress on the selection of the right candidate, who can think out of the box and backs his judgment and takes the decisions on his own once he/she understands the broad framework of your expectations.
This is surely an idea whose time has come and will soon be a mainstream job if it's not so already!
I'm considering in hiring remote sale people. I have read a lot of articles. Tried posting classified ads on indeed.com but the response rate was low. If anyone has experiences in working with remote sales people, I would like to hear your experiences. Thanks.
