Seventeen years already?
I was at home when the news broke out and remember reaching out for my wife's hand. Our son was barely three years old and we were just thinking about the family's affected in this senseless act.
It's hard to believe it's been 17 years already; I remember it like it was yesterday. I was getting ready for work and getting the kids ready for school when the news interrupted the morning show with the videos. I live along the approach to a major airport, and it was surreal not to see or hear any planes flying over for several days afterward. I always spend a few quiet moments reflecting when the anniversary of that dreadful day rolls around.
So the big question of the day. Where were you on 9 11, 17 years ago.
I was crossing the George Washington Bridge on the way to work and saw the smoke.
Did not realize what happened until I got to work.
The T V was on, and then everybody went home.
People are still dyeing from the effects of the smoke and fires. So Sad, both the day and the after effects.
