Re: Your About Page
moderator_lisa Mar 28, 2018 6:13 PM (in response to LUCKIEST)Great point, Luckiest. I almost always check the About page to find out more about the people and the purpose behind a business I'm considering patronizing. It's a good idea to keep your About page current. Including a recent photo can help customers feel like they know you before they click that contact link or call to make an appointment.

An About page is often the most neglected one after the work that goes into it at the outset in spite of the fact that it sends free organic traffic to your site. It is the soul of the website and should at a glance inform the visitors why they are at the right website, hence must be kept up to date at all times!

cliffordwillis Apr 19, 2018 11:09 AM (in response to LUCKIEST)I think all pages must be perfect. Like 404 or 403 page..But the main page - homepage must be the best. You need to follow modern trends and features..Here is a good article about this.
Your About Page should be your hardest-working website page!
This page ...
...gives you a strong, highly differentiated personal brand
... gets a faster "yes" because clients feel comfortable hiring you
... could be your most effective lead generator for solo-preneurs and independent professionals
