    Best Books For Advice

    Moderator BethM Navigator

With so many resources out there, a potential new small business owner could easily get overwhelmed trying to figure out which advice is the best to follow.

What books would you recommend to learn more about running a small business?

          Great question, Beth!

One book I would readily recommend is The E-Myth Revisited, by Michael Gerber. I feel that is a must read if you are planning to start your business. The E in E-Myth refers to Entrepreneurs, and not E-Commerce. The basic premise is that not every business owner is an entrepreneur and that not every technician is cut out for business management.

Interesting! I find SCORE a great resource for new small businesses.

SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors.

As a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE has helped more than 10 million entrepreneurs

through mentoring, workshops and educational resources since 1964.And SCORE is FREE.

I am currently reading "Steal Like an Artist" by Austin Kleon. It provides inspiration.
