If you haven't seen the news, this month millions of individuals with judgments and tax liens will see those disappear from their credit reports. (Here's an article I wrote about these credit score changes.) While FICO is reporting that it won't create a huge change for most, some will see a credit score jump of more than twenty points. This could make them eligible for business financing that was previously unavailable.
Our research at Nav has found that 17.5% of Nav customers with a business have either a tax lien or judgment on their personal credit reports.
Are you hoping this change helps your credit? Thoughts?
