Hi leeking205. It sounds to me as though you are at the point where a combination of attorney and accountant could guide you and answer these types of logistical questions. Here in this forum we have experts who own their own businesses in a variety of fields, and most are very willing to share their expertise, experience, and advice. However, we are not bankers or account services agents. Any changes to your accounts and status would have to be managed in the banking offices.
Are we understanding correctly that you have been to the bank, where the account services people suggested that in order to open multiple accounts you would need to have other people as signers on those accounts? A lawyer and/or an accountant - or perhaps an attorney who specializes in corporate tax laws - would be able to provide the answers you seek as to why this requirement might exist, as well as any applicable tax laws and local regulations that relate to your business. I hope this information is helpful.
