    HORSE TRAILERS

    vzndoc Newbie
WE HAVE STARTED A HORSE TRAILER BUSINESS WITH LIVING QUARTERS. THESE TRAILERS HAVE ALL THE AMENITIES OF THE BIG NAME TRAILERS ,BUT AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE. WHAT WE ARE FACING IS NAME RECOGNITION. HOW CAN WE ESTABLISH NAME RECOGNITION WITHOUT SPENDING LOADS OF MONEY ON ADVERTISING

          Welcome to the community!

Name recognition involves people seeing your business name repeatedly in association with your product. I know several breeders and many owners -- and it seems like all of them in a given locale tend to shop at the same places for feed, supplies, fencing, etc. -- and they all attend the same types of events (shows, auctions, competitions, etc.) Perhaps you could arrange to park one of your trailers at a farm and ranch supply store with a sign or banner on it, or attend an event with the trailer and set up in a visible spot on the parking grounds so people could see it first hand. You might also consider contacting stables in the region to see if you might post ads or flyers on bulletin boards there or inquire about a referral program for listing on their websites. Another option might be to look around and see if there is another small/new business that's related to yours, like a tack shop -- and partner up on advertising together and promoting each other.

I'm sure other good ideas will follow, but maybe these will get things started. Best wishes.
