Mortar location. I like the feeling of being with and around people. The conversations.
I've always traveled when I was younger and adapted a mentality that I am always in my 'home'-"office".
I'm able to focus and get more done from my home office. With my laptop and cordless phone, it's portable. I can be anywhere on the property I want to work from so I'm not always stuck in the office.
I also like the fact that I don't have to always be dressed in formal attire. I'm often just wearing shorts, t-shirt or sweats. And I sure don't miss commuting.
It's definitely not for everyone though.
It is always interesting to me to read comments from others, both employers and employees!
I am wondering, if you had your preference -- would you rather work in your home office or in a brick and mortar location? Tell me why you would select one over the other.
