Can't agree with you more, Chris. I would imagine that bad copy turns more potential customers/clients off.
I enjoy going to a webpage that is colorful (but not overly colorful) and filled with great content. And my best guess is that others feel the same way. Your article is filled with helpful tips and my hope is that others will read it and then print it out to share with their employees who work on the company's webpage.
Simple things like misspelled words and grammatical errors cause many to turn away and stop reading. Taking that last minute to re-read your copy before hitting submit, makes all the difference in the world.
