I own several 40+ year old mobile homes in a rezoned section of our neighborhood. I can'r rent most for reasons of condition, age and maintenance. I'm on permanent disability that keeps me from maintaining these old homes like I used to. A loss of income is bringing on the redevelopment idea into a RV Park. I just can't get financial help. Does anyone have a definitive answer that would help in this matter?
Contact the RV Park chains. KOA comes to my mind first. If your land is in a location with access to an interstate or U. S. highway, you may get financing through the value of the land. Another use would be to have your old units removed, (be sure to recycle anything of use first), and rent the empty lot. A third option would be to contact the nearest mobile home dealer, to inquire about a partnership. They sell a unit, you sell the land. Good luck.
