While reading Steve Strauss' article: Creating a Work – Life Balance in the Digital Age we see that he shared this statistic - "....for each additional 10 hours of vacation employees took, their year-end performance ratings from supervisors (on a scale of one to five) improved by 8 percent". Amazing, don't you think? And he continues to say that if one takes frequent vacations, he/she is more likely to stay where they are working.
