      We've just gotten wind from one of our major network partners of a phishing scam making the rounds as we speak. It seems the bad guys are contacting merchants by phone or email and telling them that their "merchant account is locked", whatever that means. This is a ploy to get merchants to divulge their confidential merchant account info, which many unfortunately are falling for.  IF YOU RECEIVED A SIMILAR EMAIL OR PHONE CALL AND DIVULGED ANY OF YOUR MERCHANT ACCOUNT INFO, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR PROCESSOR IMMMEDIATELY and have them be on the lookout for fraudulent activity with your merchant account. Nobody knows exactly what the bad guys are up do, but it can't be good.
