Need some ideas on how to let your employees know how much you appreciate them during a busy holiday season? Steve Strauss gives us some wonderful and cost-effective tips in his article: 6 Cost-effective Ways to Celebrate Your Employees This Holiday Season.
I enjoyed reading about the holiday party that he wants to remain in his past. Perhaps we have endured a party like his but with his suggestions, we can let our employees realize just how valuable they are to us and our businesses. One particular idea he suggests is handwriting the families of our employees and letting them know how much you appreciate the work of their family member. Telling the family just how important their loved one is to your business is a very kind thing to do and will help to create a bond with the family, too. The cost of this caring gift is minimal but ENORMOUS in employee-owner relationships.
Hope Steve's article gives you some new ideas of how to show appreciation to your employees during a busy holiday season. Do you have some ideas/tips you would like to share with us? We would love to read them.
