I've been pitched a couple of offers from investment firms in the UK. But the catch is paying fees in order for these investors to invest in my company. I don't understand why I would have to pay fees for somebody to invest in my company. For those that have had experience with angel investors, I want to know if this is par for the course or is this something I should steer away from?
As you said, Steer away from investors who want to invest in your company.
They are more interested in getting your banking codes.than investing in your company.
