This week Microsoft introduced two tablets in the "Surface" family to directly compete with Android and Apple tablets this winter. Both come with covers that contain actual keyboards, rear kickstands and variations of Microsoft's new Windows 8 operating system (one with a stripped down "Metro Only" mode, another with full Windows 8), and have already been hailed as potential "iPad killers." But Microsoft has not let reporters play with the new keyboards, nor have they revealed processor speed, RAM, actual release dates or, most importantly, price. So with such an impressive product from the demos and trade show reveal, what are they hiding? And why are they hiding it?
Idle speculation time!
I bet it will be pretty...
If it's anything like their other products (proprietary and prone to viruses/spyware) I'll not be touching it with a ten foot fiberglass rod.
