    Is Google+ Doomed?

    Moderator Jim Ranger

News reports from this weekend indicate that a lot of game companies are preparing to leave Google+. Among them, the biggest announcement came from EA and their PopCap Games division. The articles state that there just aren't enough users to support gaming. So that leaves the question: is the service doomed?

I'd love to hear from you!

I don't really think that creates the ground for the description. There are still a lot of companies utilizing the social media for promotion. And besides, Google+ is just a new platform. It can still grow.

It's become more dire for them in recent days as engineers and developers who have left the project are now doing interviews stating that there was no defined goal or purpose for the project other than to clone facebook. Once they did that and went live, there was little more they could do with it. So with user numbers decreasing, what can they do to turn things around?
