Hello, I have been researching the topic and haven't seen a clear answer. What I want to do is hire several employees in Japan. What I'm unsure of is how to accomplish this from a payroll perspective. The employees would rarely if ever come to the US. They would be temporary employees reapointed on an as needed basis. Typically appointment will be pt,4-9 mos (basically a semester or an Academic year). They will always always have primarry employment with a japanese University. I want to make sure I'm complying with both Japanese and US law. Thank you in advance!
