    Independent Pharmacy Start-Up

I have been in the pharmacy industry for almost 20 years and feel that now is the time to start working for my self. I am looking to open a small 800-1000 sqft pharmacy right across the street from a Walgreens and a Publix supermarket. My plan is just starting to take shape, yet I am seeking additional knowledge about commercial loans, more specifically an SBA loan. I believe I will need around 150-200K to get the business open and then still have some capital to continue to purchase inventory. Can anyone tell me how much of my own capital I should be expected to bring to the table? What is a good rate on a loan and what are the typical terms? Should I be expected to put my home up as collateral?
