Walter, welcome to the 'states'. I just shared in another post that I was searching similar opportunities at a site called www.thebusinessmarket.com. You can search business opportunities by capital to invest and even locations. Seems that they have a varied selection and allows you to get in touch with the franchisor to learn more. Great way to learn what is available.
Good luck to you!
Walter - my business in the health and wellness industry would be something that you would be most interested in. I would love to discuss with you further. When are you available to speak with me? www.warmspirit.org/lindagiles.
Thanks for your kind response however am good to discuss any business with you anytime am quite on line now and dont know if you be available to speak to me so we go from there.
No offense Walter. But many foreign scam artists make the same claims with the hope of getting a bank account number to "wire" the money they are giving away. Make sure you give more details on yourself so other can be sure you are authentic.
You are right about scam artists that prey on inexperienced aspiring business owners...
Maybe some of the people who have responded to Mr. Don's offer could share their experiences and if he is legitimate it would be very helpful for the rest of us to know..
So, has anybody moved forward with acquiring investment monies from this gentleman?
You are correct. Do your "due diligence" with any company, in the states or abroad.
Do not give out your bank or identifying information.
Any legitimate investor from out of the country most likely would have teamed up with some investment firm or law firm in the US for credibility sake.
And even do your "due diligence" on them.
Mike Fesler works in this area and has a great due diligence checklist that he posted for free
at www.ceospace.biz in the forum. Search his name because I don't know exactly where it is
Good Luck all
I find it interesting that Walterdon does not have any info in his profile. Walterdon, if you want people to trust you for capital, you need to let us know about you. I don't like dealing with people who won't tell me about their past and current information.
Jumpstart/UBCOA1 you are truly priceless. It's almost worth the $60 that you are going to pay be back for the pure entertainment to see what you are coming up with next. Well here goes:
This is his "third party" connection. His "partner in crime".
Oh and one more thing Jumpstart/UNCOA1. You will appolize to me online.

I can't help but jump in on this one. One of the most enduring posts in this community is the offer for 100K. At least this gentleman has shown some responsiveness. I agree, a natural consequence from previous simlar solicitations makes his proposition dubious to say the least.
For all the talk of business plans and finance requests, I don't see a lot of simple projections being offered off simple starting figure investments. What you could do with 25K should be a simple enough answer if you are ready for it. I bet I could double 25K in two years. I have little to substantiate my proposal either right now! I wonder who out there can do better?
I recall an old post titled "Send me an Angel" I think. That was the first and last venture I've seen thus far that looked worth investing in based on a maximized profit objective.
By the way, "alphaconsumer"- I like the sound of that. Seeing all the news about economy got me wondering about the ethic of the current opportunity consumer. I wouldn't put my money into anything I couldn't back up with my own arms, legs, and good old fashioned industrial work ethic. I actually glean quite a lot from all the finance requests out here, but I'd like to learn more from a higher standard. Why not raise a convention and at least start throwing some figures around. I don't think it would take a serious investor long to figure out who was a legitimate prospect and vice versa.
Hey there. Been pretty busy but I'm still paying attention. I'll stop back in when I can!
