Thank you Luckiest. By "source of information" I am looking for references with industry statistics/averages to help me complete a market research. I understand the importance of a business plan hence working on completing one. But I need a good understantaning of the target market portential to be able to make needed revenue/cash flow projections. Because the business has not started, I do not have existing numbers to work from. Is this something that I can do myself or must I hire some one else?
jcobankco, Sageworks, Inc. may be able to help. We can provide financial metric averages from over 1,400 industries by NAICS code, public or private companies. Let me know if you would like to learn more.
First I appreciate all the suggestions that I recieved in my ealier inquiry. I had enough information to make that decision. Meanwhile, I continue to work on my business plan and I will like to put together the intitial one by myself before looking for outside help. I have made a lot of progress but now need help in obtaining historical and statistical data for a parcel service business like UPS, Fedex, USPS.
In order to make meaningful projections in my financial statements, I need some existing logic upon which to analyse my target market.
can anyone give me a source of information?
