Guidelines Reminder: Posting Content Harvested From Other Websites & Blogs

Hi everyone! I just wanted to give a small reminder about the Rules & Guidelines of our small business community. While we appreciate that members want to share informative content with the community, it is imperative that this is done correctly in a manner that does not infringe upon the copyrights of others.

Rule #5. states, "Submit only your own, original content. Help us maintain the community's reputation and observe the intellectual property rights of others by only submitting content you have personally written or else properly attributed. The community should not be used to distribute unauthorized copies of any copyrighted material."

What this means is that you may link to an article and offer a point for discussion however, we ask that you keep your summary and points original to you. Copying an extensive portion of the article (or the entire article in some cases) is not acceptable.

We value what our members have to say, the fact that they are so willing to help others and that this community thrives because of every member who takes the time to be here however, we simply cannot allow copyright violations in posts.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to reading all of the original content you have to share.
