I just wrote a blog post called Customers are still cutting costs due to the bad economy which reiterates information found by the New York Post during several surveys it recently conducted.
Customers are spending less on items they used to buy without thinking twice, like their daily cup of coffee, haircuts, dry cleaning, cable, and name-brand products (as opposed to generic).
We - the small business people - are hurting in the process!
In the blog I linked to above I mentioned some tips for what small business owners can do to adapt to these changes but I'm curious to hear what you all propose as well.
