"How do we get more people to contribute to our organization?"

    Homeless N America Newbie

"Homeless N America" is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt non-profit organization, dedicated to helping all  homeless Americans with food, clothing, shelter, education, and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. We need your advice on how we can get more people to visit our web site at:, and donate more so we can give more assistance to our homeless brothers and sisters here in the United States of America. So if you have any advice please reply.  Thank you and God Bless you.

Thank You for your advice, it was very good. We're a very new organization and we are very legitimate. We're recognized as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit tax exempt organization trying to get our feet off the ground. Our organizations name is Homeless N America because that's exactly what we're trying to do is end Homelessness in America. With help from God and all of us who are able here in America, we can all stand together and help our homeless brothers and sisters here in the "United States Of America."

By donating to Homeless N America you'll be helping in the fight against Homelessness here in our great country. Donating a little to help a starving family is better than not donating and watch a family starve. Yes we can have a fancy website or other flashy things, but putting that money towards feeding a starving family would help in the miracle of answering a child's dreams.

God Bless you from us here at: Homeless N America.

Florida offers tax breaks to corporations that donate to local organizations like yours.  I'd suggest checking with your local Economic Development Council (EDC) and find out if there is something similar in your State.  Also, do some research on available grants to help fund your organization.  This is somethign that you will probably have to pay for, but do the research.  You can look at the Federal goverment website that lists different types of grants available.  Research what they require and work from there.  Another suggestion would be to have someone in your organization take some grant-writing classes (if you don't have anyone as yet).  I've taken 6 week online grant writing classes at Valdosta State University's continuing Ed (  Once you know how to research grants and write effective proposals, getting funding may be easier.

Until then, try your local EDC and see what's available.

                God Bless!
