First off, please excuse the question...I'm very, very green when it comes to small business payroll, benefits etc.
I work for a small business, me being the only employee other than the owner, and need to set-up workers comp. The company is based in North Carolina, but I work out of my home in Minnesota for the company. From my understanding the workers comp will have to be purchased in the state of North Carolina and no workers comp will have to be pruchased in Minnesota...correct?
Thanks so much. And there will be many questions to come!
