Team- what is a proven strategy in face-to-face networking situations, such as chamber mixers, to either get a sales lead or to meet the point person for a coveted project? suggestions?

          CEO Space Scout

As others have stated here in other posts and I know from experience, the best networking is done when you care about the other person and are willing to listen and build a relationship.

One of the main things that makes our network at CEO Space different is that we teach everyone to find out what the other persons project or business is and to find out how they can help them.

Not everyone is your client, but you can connect up other people.

And as Zig Ziglar said "if you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want."

So instead of walking up to everyone with your pitch, find out about them.

Old school- networking strategies like marketing. Discussing the product or service offered
Identifying the customers demand for your product or service
Identify the market, its size and location
Explain pricing and close the deal and take the money to the bank.
