Good luck LUCKIEST
What would be the best route to securing a loan for this business? I have read the SBA website and it is not the easiest read.
Do you have a business plan? You will need one.
As Luckiest asked, do you know that the clients will stay?
Have you done your due diligence on the business and have proof of the stated profits etc.
Get copies of prior year tax returns, get a list of customers, show me a $60K and i will
lend you the money, LUCKIEST
I suggest that if you have any previous teaching experience that you open you own. I am in the same situation, my goal is to open a special education PreK. They are asking to much for daycares that are already in the market. It is way cheaper to open my own and create my own legacy and reputation. Nevertheless, I have been teaching for five years and that experience will also help. I don't know your background. All of these should be taking into factors. I hope this help!

I am looking at buying an established daycare in a small town that is booming. The owners are asking $80000.00. This is just for the clients and the furnishings, they lease the building. After everything they cleared about $60000.00 last year. Is this a wise and safe venture? Is the asking price worth what I am getting?
