Now for the other side-- from the employee and contractor point of view. What happens if the employer doesn't pay wages due or on outstanding invoices? In New York state, a company that we advised-- PeekYou-- has scammed employees out of thousands of dollars and we are looking for advice on how to protect these employees that were cheated. Our attorney said that winning a judgment against PeekYou may be meaningless, since they have no cash and we'd be unable to collect anyway.
