    Are the days of newspaper advertising dead?

      Daily newspapers are struggling to survive while Weekly publications are thriving. Why? Weeklies are more apt to working along side with social media building a stronger business base. Advertising your "sale" or new "product" with the use of Facebook, Twitter, blogging and newspaper advertising has proven to drive the message home.

      The Weeklies in our community are also on Facebook and Twitter. They are promoting themselves-this is also promoting my business.

      Promoting my business with the use of event invitations on Facebook, a quick reminder on Twitter and a large ad for three weeks in a row in a Weekly publication has grown my business over 40% in this last year. Even with the economy showing a lack of spending my profits are up.
