Convenience Store, Welcome
Good questions. Where are you located?? Costs on the East coast are different from costs on the West coast.
Costs are different in the North as compared to the South.
Do you know about SCORE?? SCORE is FREE and can help you LOCALLY and online.
SCORE suggests yo develop a business plan,

I'm on the east coast, looking to open the store in a rural part of SC.
Try this site the serve small grocery stores http://www.texasjasmine.net/jasmine/
In the North the trend is "drive-thru" convenient stores, depending on where you are if you are close to Cin. Ohio area you may want to take a peak at them. Wonderful during the winter, when you want to run up to the store without make-up, when it is raining, anytime.
Best Wishes to your new adventure!

I am currently looking to open a convenience store, and am in the early stages right now. I'm trying to get an estimate together as to how much it would cost to stock the store, (beverages, junk food, random stuff like papertowels, tissues, condoms, batteries etc.) but am at a loss as to where to look for a list of the wholesale prices. If anyone could give me a link of where I could find something like that, or an estimate, I'd greatly appreciate it. If anyone wants to try and make an estimate as to the cost of stocking the store, I'm looking to make a small store, maybe half the size of your average gas station store. Thanks in advance.
