Go to your carrier and tell them what your travel plans are. They will provide you with the information and equipment you need. If you have a smartphone all you need is an activated chip.1 of 1 people found this helpful
Most services that are part of the GSM network have some sort of international coverage so you can make calls while abroad. You will incur international roaming charges though. I have Tmobile for instance, and it worked fine while in Italy but I had to let them know I was traveling there ahead of time though.
