If I was a betting man, I would say the three posts above are nothing more than several web hosting providers promoting their own companies.
The fact of the matter is that there are thousands of web hosts out there, and there is no one host that is the best. It's all about finding the best web host for your needs.
If you're legitimately shopping for a web hosting service ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_hosting_service ), figure out what kind of platform you need - for example, free hosting, shared hosting, vps hosting or dedicated hosting. Additionally, think about what's important for you - such as technical phone support, software options, money back guarantees, uptime, rating with better business bureau... this list can go on and on.
It's important to remember that unlike other industries, and specifically because the financial barrier to starting a web hosting business is so low, there can be a HUGE difference from one provider to another. If any shoppers have questions for me, I'm happy to offer any advice.
I founded a website, istartsavvy.com that caters to helping people start an online business. Their are numerous routes you can go with web hosting. Here is our list of recommended providers. It contains a list of their services. Price is only one factor that you should consider. Keep in mind customer service, features, etc.
Hope that helps!
