There are so many ways you can do the business setting. Following are my suggestions:
- If you short on money, just do DBA( Doing Buiness As) and get insurance and you are ready to go.
- Get a good business plan and try using one of the example to build your plan.
- Go to the local library and get business plan book and example.
- Attend local SCORE chapter class on " Starting Business".
You say that you're "interested" in starting a new company, which suggests that you're in the conceptual stage. To echo SCORE81's reply, I'd recommend that you decide on a business name, research its availability, file a DBA with your county clerk, and go to it. You can start the process of building the business as a sole proprietor. It's by far the cheapest, fastest, and simplest structure. Once you make some money and start building a customer base, there will be all kinds of creative options available for restructuring your enterprise. You can seek legal advice then regarding which is the best option for you. (My philosophy is that when you can afford the services of an attorney, you probably need one -- but until then, you really don't have enough assets to worry about it.) Best of luck with your new enterprise!
The best way to get a business plan is to go on line to SCORE.
