as far as i am aware it is quite effective but why do you not just paint your old vehicles?1 of 1 people found this helpful
here is an interesting article about vehicle signage:
New equipment and signage, Welcome
I am a GREAT believer in FREE advertising and YES SIGNAGE on a truck is FREE advertising.
Look around you. From all the 18 wheeler gas trucks (like HESS), to the food trucks like Shoprite
to all the smaller trucks and vans that advertise their services (phone cpmpanies, repairs etc).
When you park your truck or drive around town, that is FREE advertising. The only person who I know
that does not advertise on his truck is a local painter and I think that is because he is unlicensed.
Good luck, LUCKIEST

I own a small landscaping company and currently do not have any lettering on my trucks. I was wondering if any one can tell me how much business they can atribute to lettered trucks. The trucks I have are in rough shape and if I was to letter anything, i would be buying a new truck. I am trying to figure out if the investment is worth it. I also have a partner that I would need to convince that a new truck and sinage would be worth the investment. For the last 25 years we have done just fine, but with increasing competiton in town, i would like to put a better image of the company out there. We have a decent client base and quality thats top notch, but I feel like without lettered trucks no one knows who we are. any help would be greatly appreciated.
