I own a sourcing consultancy that has been helping start-up and small businesses locate reliable factories in China for over two years. I have experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process, from finding the right size factory to price negociation to import procedures. In addition, I have experience with arranging confidentiality agreements to ensure brand protection. If any of this sounds interesting to you, don't hesitate to contact me at the web address below. Suniya31:

Have you done any market research?

While you may want to bring bold and vibrant clothes to your local community, does your community want the same? And if so, is the share of the community that you would target with your designs large enough to support the business? Are any of the other local clothing stores offering anything similar to your vision? If so, how are those products selling?

Without knowing more about your community, it is somewhat difficult to give you appropriate advice on how to poll the locals. You may be able to do some cooperative marketing / polling with other businesses that offer products and services to your target market.

Other important steps include creating a business plan, setting up your legal structure / applying for the appropriate business licenses, and launching your marketing campaigns. However, you should hold off on all of these until you have done enough research to determine that your idea can actually make money.

I hope this helps for a start.

    All the Best,
