First thing first - I would suggest that you get some experience first. Are there other beauty supply stores that you can work for? It does not have to be for long - but, if you can work there - you will find out who they get their stuff from.1 of 1 people found this helpful
There are also franchise beauty supply stores that you can look into. They will provide you the supplies/inventory you need as well as help you with marketing and operations.
Have you searched the web for manufacturing groups or associations in your space. They will provide a list of manufacturers or manufacturer representatives that can get the inventory you need.
Have you tried costco or sam's club. Buy in bulk, then sell individually (if you can - read the lables).
Lastly - try SCORE.org or find a small business development center (SBDC) in your area and make an appointment. They are free and can help answer your specific questions. You can also do SCORE online.
