I like some of the templates...# 787, 770, 751,you see what I mean. Can you provide ball park pricing to convert my site (Ragagolf.com) to implementing one of these templates, get the site up and running and whatever maintenance charges that may apply. Remember the shoestring budget...
I'm really glad you've evaluated our work. So I'd like to ask you for clarification: what kind of e-commerce system your site is working on? And what template (from our site) do you like most? Waiting for your responce.
I like the 751 template, but noticied that it is OS Commerce. OS Commerce is the template and shopping cart that I am currently using for my (RBDiscountgolf.com) web site. I hesitate to continue with OS Commerce or use them again because when my buyers come to my site and make a purchase, I am notified by PAYPAL, but not by the OS Commerce shopping cart. The OS Commerce software is not intuitive enough to prompt the customer to complete the transaction. So, I end up having to contact my customers and asking them what they bought. I would be very interested in your comments.
I've checked your website out and I think apart from revamping the design to make it look some intuitive and recreating the shopping cart features to make them more user friendly I would also work on optimizing it for search engine ranking. Right now you don't have any search engine optimization tools implemented at all which is hurting the number of visitors/clients you could be getting.
I would also redesign the navigation altogether, clearly separating informational links such as About us etc from shopping experience links: the categories need to be put first and foremost so that people can start clicking right away. Plus I would suggest having a strong marketing splash screen with special offers and attractive images people can start clicking on right away. As well as making room for your products: right now a tiny portion of your website actually showcases your products.
Just a few words about my offer, first my projects are affordable - they may not be cheap but they are very affordable. My designs are always 100% custom made: no templates clients can tell are a quick fix. The same for my ecommerce solutions, custom tailored to your products and needs and therefore always easy to use and using the latest techonolgy: No Oscommerce shortcomings or Volusion complicated dashboards. Check my website out please - I feature a custom designed website there that is related to Golf too: http://www.webmarmalade.com or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the reply, I would suggest rebuilding the entire system to make sure you are ready for the holidays season with an efficient website. Your logo is great and I think a lot can be done around the concept. I'd rather discuss prices through private messaging. I've sent you a message to the customer service email address listed on your website (CustSvc at RagaGolf.com) with a ballpark figure for a custom design + a custom ecommerce system + seo and google products submission. If my figure is too high please do send me your budget at contact at webmarmalade.com and we'll start from there and maximize what I can do to make the website more efficient. :)
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I would look at Volusion.com. It is a well built comlete solution. Their free templates are not that great and you will want to invest some money into designing new templates or customizing their existing templates. Volusion offers this service. I f you would like, I am a consultant specialized in ecommerce and would be glad to see if I can help you build your site. Feel free to email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
I have done some searching myself as I am trying to launch a retail business and I want to get the site up before I lease a store, but inmotionhosting.com has had very high reviews from webhostinggeeks.com for being the best e-commerce hosting for a few years running, and I dont know a whole lot about the technical aspects but it all looks very good for a very decent price. I hope to be ready to purchase it soon and start selling some products and I will let you know as soon as I do.
You can get an affordable website builder and hosting company, as now with the growing demand of web hosting companies there are a number of them that offer services at affordale rates. And you can also search on Google, you will get good results. Good luck! Creative Ecommerce Web Design Co. ( ATAKinteractive.com )
Having built my share of Ecommerce sites, I will chime in with a few thoughts. First of all you say your on a limited budget. This is going to hurt you in the long run and here is why. Today's Internet customers are spoiled, they are being handed beautifully designed sites, blogs and stores that are easy to navigate and loaded with features. If you do not offer a "amazon like" experience, you will not last in the long run and the little money you spend will be wasted. Any money spent on design, promotion, and marketing will be the best money you spend. There is always a long list of improvements and/or people to hire or content to write. Every dollar you spend in these items is an investment. We have not even talked about SEO, which should have its own budget as well. Stay away from Go Daddy's site builder thing, its horrible. Choose something expandable so that you can add modules and grow your base design. Look for 3rd party vendors that can help you do that, for well known platforms, they are all over the place.
