Re: womans lingurie
vnavguys Jul 8, 2009 5:51 PM (in response to Misspretty)It depends on the agreement you have set up with the vendor/manufacturer. If their products are produced to be used universely, then you can put your brand name on it. I do this with one of my products, it works well. but you have to make sure, trademark infrigements are very very expensive.

Re: womans lingurie
vnavguys Jul 8, 2009 6:48 PM (in response to Misspretty)You could skip the lawyer if you got an agreement in writing with the manufacturer or vendor. Lawyers charge big fees for some silly little things. All they are going to do is ask the vendor for you. I would go to them if you cannot iron it out by yourself first.

Re: wemans lingurie
bentenn Jul 7, 2009 4:35 PM (in response to Misspretty)Since you have created a business to buy and resell women's lingerie, I hope you have already secure the necessary business license, resale license, liability insurance, dba, etc. for your area. Once done, lets look at your question.
If you purchase products from a company, you have the right to resell it where ever to whomever you wish. You may not own the design of the clothing but you will own and can resell the actual products you purchased. So yes, if you can get stores, websites, etc. to buy those clothes from you and resell them to their customers, yes, you can keep the difference between what you paid for them and what others paid you to buy the clothes from you.
All the best for a prosperous year. Ben-
Re: wemans lingurie
Misspretty Jul 8, 2009 4:56 PM (in response to bentenn)Wonderful!! Thanks Ben..
Now my next dilemma is finding stores( in the Los Angelos ,New York or Bay area) who are willing to sale my line of clothing. What would you say are some attractive proposals to approach them with?
Thanks in advance for your help

I have always been interested in fashion, colors, and glam. I deciced to resale wemans lingurie. The company where i purchase all of my products, stamps my company's name and logo on the tags. Does this mean that I now have full ownership of the lingurie and i can place them in different stores, reap the benifits and not get sued??
