On some days, people tend to not see a post if it gets shoved under alot of other posts. People tend to only skim over pages and hit what they're knowledgeable in. Some questions have answers, while others seem to fade out, it happens to us all :)1 of 1 people found this helpful
By the way, Welcome to the community. There's no real formula to fitting in, this isn't school where we have a 'cool kids' table and the rest sit around glowering at the others. Just offer good advice or ask poignant questions, and you'll do fine.
This looks like a place to have some adult conversation about web stuff. My cat just walks away and my wife gives me a patient but pained look.
I try not to respond to areas that I have no expertise in - that would be finance, loans, taxes, legal issues, accounting, and the like.
Also, I agree with Mongoose. Sometimes a post gets lost in all the spam and simply gets missed or we are caught up in another discussion. This is really a great place to get information and open a dialogue.

Try breaking up your post into smaller chunks. If you ask too many questions within a single post, it may be a little intimidating to another member to answer, especially if its not their area of expertise.
Keep posting those small business questions and good luck!
I'll agree with vince on this one - A wall of text can be a little overwhelming considering most of us on here are just casually looking through these posts between doing our jobs.
It is not your posting by any means, you are just fine.

I am new to this forum and could use some tips or feed back on how to fit into the community. This group seems to be very helpful and yet no one responded to my post last week for some feedback on the website that I manage. Where did I fail with my posting?
