Companies need to reinvent themselves at regular intervals. The last 30-35 years have been particularly challenging to many business. From an unconnected world, we are now connected to almost everyone. From large computers in Science and research labs, we now have one on every desk, from brick & mortar stores to virtual supermarkets, the past three decades have seen changes at a scorching pace.
I think that the companies which have been able to adapt to new technologies have a head start in this fast paced world.
I agree. We are one global village now and technological investments always pay off in the long run. They might be costly but in the end they are totally worth it!
