Hi john! Many businesses have turned to electronic payment systems versus physical checks for a variety of reasons. it takes a lot less time to pay these bills electronically and avoid the bother of writing a check and mailing it. Also, credit card and electronic payment systems can also be set up to pay bills automatically at a specified time each month, thereby eliminating the possibility that a payment would be forgotten or lost in transit, which might result in penalty fees or loss of service.
There are many different software options available if you wish to do it yourself. Your bank, or merchant transaction company, may also have software bundles and/or services that are available for your business.
Hopefully our community will jump in and provide their experiences with payment systems and software available to help simplify your bill paying and check writing.

We use electronic payments and transactions.
That is the way forward, Peter!
When did you make the switch to electronic payment and did you face any teething issues when you started?
