Great tips... But, don't forget to also get feedback from unsatisfied customers. These people are all to happy to tell you what's wrong with your business, and sometimes that can be a very enlightening experience. You'll get to see where things are going off and what could be improved.
This is great advice as well, Susan! Everyone loves hearing what they are doing right, but it is also important to understand the areas where you may need to improve in. While statistics vary, it's been said that a a satisfied customer will tell 2-3 people about experiences with your company. A dissatisfied consumer will share their complaints with 8-10 people and in these days of social media, it could become viral and potentially reach hundreds, if not thousands of people overnight!
It's important not to just bask in our successes, but learn from our failures if we want our small businesses to become successful and thrive.
