I would first suggest checking with the SBA. They can help point you in the right direction as well as give you lots of advice on the steps you need to take.

Thank you for your help. I have found some new information on how to raise funds online and how to apply for 501 c(3). The organization is on the go and have registered and get my EIN number.

My first question is, do you have the African side set up yet? Can you introduce yourself a little and tell us more about what it is that your non-profit organization does. What kind of a team do you need to assemble? This information might help us to give you a more direct answer to your question.

The organization will set up a overseas subsidiary to manage the projects. So far the organization is on the go to be registered in the states, file for 501 c(3) and build a website where donations will be taken places. Our organization intend to supply lower cost lanterns such from www.dlightdesign.com to lower income households in central Africa, particularly in DRcongo, Uganda, and Zambia in ways of selling them and donating them through our donations program in the USA. As well will provide IT training to young adults, micro credit and equipment lease/finance to small business entrepreneurs. I m willing to assemble advisory board of directors, executives and directors in the states to help build a strong teams to supports our projects. First project on hand will be a implement a computer learning center/Internet café to generate income to sustain its operations. Second projects will be to provide internet service at a lower cost to small businesses. Third project will be to provide micro-loan service such as equipment lease and mobile fund transfers. So that I understand correctly, you will have one organization be responsible for selling lanterns, offer IT training, and offer leasing/financing of equipment. This sounds like a lot to bite off at once.
How long has the exisiting company in Africa been in business.

Ways to Make Your Search More Accurate
Most of the time, you just want to find content that has a particular phrase. Here are the easiest ways to find the content you want.

Enclose your search phrase in quotes. Search will try to find content with those words in the order you enclosed them. A search for "marketing advice" is going to return content with the phrase "marketing advice".

Search for content that has certain words, but not necessarily all of the words in order. This is the most basic search. Simply enter your search terms. For example: accept credit cards This will search for documents containing the words accept, credit, and cards

Using OR. The OR operator links two terms and finds a matching document if either of the terms exist in a document. To search for documents that contain either "web design" or just "online marketing" use the query: "web design" OR "online marketing"
- Using AND. The AND operator says that the search should return content in which all of the search terms are present. To search for documents that contain both "web design" and just "online marketing" use a search like this: "web design" AND "online marketing"
