Re: Hello, why do my posts get approved and then moments later get rejected?
LWMareS Apr 10, 2013 5:30 PM (in response to awprater)Hello Awprater and welcome!
Over the past few days, you've posted the same message nine times. Solicitation for funds (which was the part where you were asking about getting $50,000) will cause your posts to be rejected.
Instead, we invite you to post and ask for general ideas about how you can find investors without specifying an amount. Include as much general (not private) detail as you can, such as:
- Type of business
- Target market
- Bricks and Mortar, Online Only, Both
- What will make it stand out above the competition?
- Have you done a business plan?
- What percentage are you investing?
Including that kind of information can help people better understand the idea you have in mind, and then they can make suggestions about financing options that might be available. Remember that seeking professional financial assistance with your business concept is always a good idea. Your local small business banker and/or chamber of commerce may be able to help.
Here's a link to our Community Guidelines and the User Agreement for your reference.
Good luck,

Re: Hello, why do my posts get approved and then moments later get rejected?
awprater Apr 10, 2013 5:24 PM (in response to LWMareS)Thank you for your reply. I am not soliciting for funds but rather where to seek to look for what I need. I actually followed the post that I saw from someone else.
I am not soliciting funds from members, but looking for their expertise and suggestions for where to look. I am sorry if that is the interpretation of my post. One post that I was from 2009 has the title. "I need help getting a loan for 50,000"

Re: Hello, why do my posts get approved and then moments later get rejected?
LWMareS Apr 10, 2013 5:39 PM (in response to awprater)Hello again Awprater!
You are correct that the thread from 2008 does have amounts listed in it, however our guidelines are updated every year. I am sorry if that content from five years ago was confusing, and hopefully the link to the current Community Guidelines help.
I would suggest posting in the Financing Tips thread. The B of A Business Credit Solutions area may also be helpful to you.
Best wishes,
Mare Stern
