My business is in Florida. My merchant account is in Ohio and my servers are located in Houston ! When I sell a local Florida resident do I need to collect sales tax ? I make them all pay online. there are no checks or cash. they always login to my server in houston. pay thru ohio. and are deliverred hosting services from Houston servers.
Technically they are receiving no delivery of anything to florida. Except their website viewed via the internet of course. Im sure the state wants something but this doesnt seem to fit any of their scenarios.
I found another closed post which never discussed the delivery aspect. I think it was assumed that designed sites were hosted in Florida. I outsource it.
