    Question: What is the name of your business?
    Your Answer: Imperfect Concepts



    Question: Where is your business located (city & state)?  Who are the customers you serve?  What products or services does you company provide?

    Your Answer: It is in Killeen, Texas. Which is located by Ft. Hood. I help creative women entrepreneurs follow their goals, dreams and visions, by helping them launch their business. My clients and audience ranges from 18 year old to 65 year old. Currently I have a mom and daughter working with me. The mother saw her daughters progress in business and decided to work with my consulting firm too, to launch her business. I offer one on one consulting, workshops, digital products such as; ebooks, Digital launch kits, step by step guides, and business essential prints.



    Question: When did you start your business? Why did you decide to start your own business?
    Your Answer: I started my first online business at 23/24 out of my small apartment in Dallas, Texas. It was an online women's resale boutique. I was no longer happy working my current position and I was not happy with consignment shops taking a large percentage of my money when I sold to them. So, I launched my first online resale boutique. Since, then I have transition to full time consulting firm and content based website. No longer running the online resale boutique.



    Question: Did you quit your "day job" to start your business?  How did you initially fund your business?
    Your Answer: Yes, I did quit my job. I had a little bit in savings and my dad helped me.



    Question: What has been the biggest challenge in running your company?
    Your Answer: Learning the ins and outs of business. Running a business is not like the movies. You truly have to get skin in the game and work. As, my business has transition from retail to consulting its all about learning to stretch my money. In addition, to managing it better.



    Question: What’s been the biggest opportunity that came from owning your business?
    Your Answer: Working with Accelerate With Google and landing a partnership with Austin Public Library to host monthly workshops.



    Question: What has surprised you most about being your own boss?
    Your Answer: So much freedom to go after what I love and define success on my terms.



    Question: Is there a success tactic you’d like to share that could help other business owners (i.e. implementing new software, tactic to grow sales, etc.)?
    Your Answer: Engage your audience by being transparent. People want to connect with you on a deeper level. Use social media and blogging for business.



    Question: What’s the best piece of advice you could give to other small business owners?
    Your Answer: Believe in your dreams in your darkest hours. Those are the days that really matter
    because they will have you get through.
